Heya folks and welcome to Foks Studios 2ND LORE THEORY, that one article that jumps through ALL those hoops to connect all the dots (yes, every single one..) in order to understand and get you hooked on server lore SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO :D! This time, we are gonna be diving into what we know about (*drumroll noises*) DIVINITY SMP!

Divinity SMP is a Minecraft server where players enter a world that was originally intended to be a prison for gods. However, there are a few questions such as, Why are you here?, How did you get here?, etc. From what I was able to tell, this server recently started a new season and I'm gonna be real with you, I have absolutely NO CLUE what is still relevant or not :/.. However, I'm gonna try my best here and inform you on all the server lore that I know so far! (or at the very least all of the server lore regarding the main plot. This article is gonna be a long one, folks so expect this to be a much longer read than the first article AND expect there to be a follow up article on Divinity SMP's lore)

First, let's start off with what we know so far! After rummaging through Divinity's Twitter, Bluesky, Discord and TikTok, I found SO MANY BITS AND FRAGMENTS I HAD TO MAKE A GOOGLE DOC OF INFO TWT.. I will quickly sum it up for you though because you're supposed to enjoy reading this, not suffer reading this!

Lets begin with all the notable quotes that I have found so far by digging through this server's socials!

This is the current bio for Divinity SMP. As for what it may mean, I theorize that this quote may be relating to the world the players are supposedly trapped in. However, what are these whispers exactly? Are the gods trying to guide the players or are their whispers a cry for help? I assume that these whispers are either from gods that are currently trapped in this mysterious world, or spirits of gods that were trapped in this world in the past or.. Mayhaps both!

This is Divinity SMP's community Discord welcome message. From my perspective, this quote seems to support the whole server concept of “a Minecraft server where players enter a world that was originally intended to be a prison for gods”.

This quote is featured in one of Divinity SMP´s BlueSky posts of which was also advertising their applications at around March 5th, 2025. Personally, I am very curious on what this quote would imply. I suspect that this line could mean that when the gods are in this realm, they lose their powers. This is “a prison for gods” after all. This quote would also imply that in order to obtain those back “power”, they need to bring “them” to.. us?? (Whatever that means :/) Does this imply sacrifice of some sort? Who is/are “us” exactly?

This quote was found on one of DivinitySMPs Twitter posts that of which contained the following image:

The image appears to show a market/center of some sort, but what stands out specifically is the fountain. I couldn't help but notice that the liquid pouring out of the fountain is red? What could this possibly mean? I previously explained that there may or may not be sacrifice involved in DivinitySMPs history, so.. Could this be… Blood?

This line was found in another one of DivinitySMP's Twitter posts and it translates to “the rift festival”. The post contained the following image:

This post is most likely advertising one of Divinity SMPs events, however obviously this event has at least SOME significance to it. What happened at The Rift Festival? What is the history of The Rift Festival? I can't help but notice that this image shows the same fountain that was shown in the previous image. Does this mean that the fountain has some sort of importance or.. Is it not the fountain but quite simply, the setting itself that holds significance? Wait… THE LIQUID IN THE FOUNTAIN ISNT RED WTF?!!!
(btw, if ANYONE reading this has any additional info such as vods, images, posts, videos, etc then dont hesitate to dm mystic_wolf_51 on Discord! Help would very much be appreciated so feel free to help me decode any of what is mentioned in Lore-Theory^^)

This line is on DivinitySMPs pinned post (at least from the time I was writing this article) and the text translates to “The world is tearing, they shall come soon”. (WHAT?!) The post contained the following image:

So, it appears that the world is LITERALLY TEARING! LIKE, WHAT?! HOW TF DID WE GET HERE TWT (I need to watch the vods… SOMEONE SEND ME THE SIGNIFICANT VODS PLEAASSSEEEEE) So.. First question, Why is the world tearing TF? If the world tears, would that be a good or a bad thing (bad I assume?). What exactly would happen if all those gods, all the people who are trapped in this world if the world tears apart? Would they be set free, or would they be trapped in an eternal limbo?

Welp, I dont wanna make the article TOO long so I will be splitting this article into two parts like I said at the beginning! I hope yall enjoyed and remember that this is all just a theory.. A- NOPE!! STILL NOT DOING IT >:(
