We decided to give back, to all those amazing SMPs that came before, that shaped both Lore News, and the MCRP community as a whole, big and small.

This list will of course not contain all the SMPs that ended, that would be impossible, but it’ll contain those we know of. So if your SMP ended, and isn’t in this list, then either make a ticket on the Lore News discord server, or tag our twitter account on the tweet that said that you’re ending, and then you’ll get added once we got time!

The list will of course not be in chronological order at the start, but a bit later on into the list, it will become chronological as it gets updated.

WFSMP was a QSMP inspired Minecraft server, with both eggs, origins, which was created by Sidian and Saint.

The earliest we could find from their twitter account, was an info thread about the SMP, which you can find here. The info thread tells us more about what WFSMP is, and so much more.

The SMP posted weekly egg statistics, made funny twitter replies, etc. But on June 21st, at 10:37pm CEST, they came with the sad news, that after almost 2 years, Withered Flutter SMP has ended. o7 goats, you will be missed and remembered.

Olympus SMP is a lore SMP inspired by greek mythology, that won the Best Overall SMP award at the 2024 Lore Awards, and was owned by Mhobster.

The earliest we could find from their twitter account, was a welcome post about the SMP, which got published on April 29th, 2023, at 7:21am CEST, and can be found here!

The SMP mainly posted out updates on what happened during lore, showed who new members/characters were, reposted whenever the players went live on the server, etc. But on November 25th, 2025, at 2:50 am CET, they posted out that the server had come to an end.

Oriental SMP was a modded 1.20 SMP for Asian and Oceanic content creators, a large unrepresented group in the SMP space. Which was amazing to see an SMP made for them.

Their twitter account’s first post, was a video about what the SMP was about, which was posted on June 23rd, 2024, at 4:56pm CEST, and can be found here!. with their twitter account used primarily for reposting creators who went live, reposting fanart, etc.

But on June 22nd, 2026, at 6:20pm CEST, they announced the ending of the SMP, which was the 24th of the same month, at midnight SGT.
